STEFANYK OPEN DAY: Questland at the Faculty of Philology

The Faculty of Philology at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University has concluded a large-scale literary marathon – *Questland*, organized as part of *STEFANYK OPEN DAY*.

For two weeks, faculty members from the Department of World Literature and Comparative Literary Studies, together with talented students from the “Secondary Education (Polish Language and Literature)” and “Ukrainian Language and Literature” programs, conducted four rounds of the quest for high school students from Ivano-Frankivsk.

Over 150 senior students from Lyceums №1, №3, №4, №10, №18, №22, VS Chool, as well as Roman Shukhevych Lyceum, Vasyl the Great Catholic Lyceum, Vyacheslav Chornovil Lyceum, and Roman Huryk Lyceum participated in the event.

The participants were presented with an exciting program: mysterious texts that were revealed with the help of mirrors, dancing figurines, a wheel of fortune, literary crosswords, secret-filled boxes, the search for names of ancient Greek gods, the adventures of Odysseus, and correcting the mistakes of a careless psychologist.

The quest stations were spread across the entire university, allowing the high school students not only to dive into the world of literature but also to meet future professors and experience student life.

Participants encountered “evil firefighters” who tested their endurance, searched for exits from hidden dungeons, and enjoyed creative improvisations and a joyful atmosphere.

The tasks were so interactive that each station turned into a mini adventure of its own.

The happy eyes of the participants and learners were the best confirmation of the success of the event. *STEFANYK OPEN DAY* showed that the Faculty of Philology is not only a place for learning but also for creativity, inspiration, and excitement! Join the next *STEFANYK OPEN DAY* events, because here, everyone can find their literary adventure!
