Scientific and pedagogical activity Work experience in high school – 47.5 years.

For 8 years worked as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Philology, then for 18 years – the Dean, Director of the Institute of Philology, for 9 years – Head of the Department of Ukrainian Language and for 23 years (from September 1996 to this time) – Head of the Department of Slavic Languages of the Carpathian National University named after  Vasily Stefanik.

 
Experience of other (not scientific and pedagogical) work Worked in a comprehensive school, in elected positions in Soviet times, was twice a deputy of the Ivano-Frankivsk district (now Tysmenytsia district) council and twice (first and third democratic convocation) – Ivano-Frankivsk regional council. During these convocations  was a member of the Presidium of the Regional Council, chairman of the commission on education, science and culture. For 20 years (from April 15, 1989 to December 2009)  was the Deputy Chairman of the Prosvita Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Organization.
